Dash Barber was born in Washington D.C, and raised in Brussels and London. In his early years an obsession with football (soccer) consumed him until a teacher encouraged him to perform in a school play. After playing Prince Harry in Stephen Frears’ 2005 film "The Queen" starring Helen Mirren, Dash has pursued a career in acting that has taken him to New York where he currently resides.
Dash’s most recent work to be released includes feature film - ‘The Fish’ - a dark social satire in which he plays a Youtube star battling another social media icon for fame and fortune. He also plays the lead role of ‘the Filmmaker’ in ‘Flasher’ a provocative dark drama/comedy about a Wall Street Banker who gives up his career and moves to Paris to exercise some personal demons at all costs.
Most recently Dash just finished filming ‘Little Women’, the iconic Louisa May Alcott book, directed by Greta Gerwig (Ladybird). Dash plays the role of ‘Fred Vaughn’, Amy’s love interest.
